What Is The Easiest Way To Cycle A New Tank.

What is the easiest way to cycle a new tank.
We have 2 tanks that I know are cycled.
How do I use my other tanks to start it?
Going to set up a 20 long dwarf cichlid tank.

What I am going to do to speed up the prcess is this:

1. Replace one of my aged canister filters with a new one on the current 120 I have running (I have two aged canisters on it).

2. Use the aged filter in conjuntion with another new one on the new tank.

3. Fill half the new tank with water taken from a water change of the old tank and half with fresh tap water.

4. I'll do another water change the same way.

The process should take about a week. I'll check the paramaters on the new tank and if acceptable, start adding fish.

Thank you for the great info!!

I can do all but using the aged aged canister filter.
I can aslo add some amount gravel from my aged tanks.
