:lol: Petros do this thing where it at first looks like they are looking at their reflection in the glass... then you realize they are eating the algea off the glass... every last bit. They have such big mouths and lips it looks really cool like they are sucking or eating glass :lol:

Speaking of which...

..why do so many African species have blue lips? Any theories on why this has been selected for in so many? Guessing it has something to do with intimidating con-specific and/or intra-specific competition, or possibly and perhaps alternately enhancing courtship although as I recall its generally exhibited by both genders.

First noticed it in Egyptian mouthbrooders and thought, wow, and then after seeing it in others wondered why?
