Let's start up a thread of what you've done with your tank the past couple of days? Post some pics! I'll start.. I changed up the look of the 125 in my room.. Moved some fish into and from it. Pics of before and after.. :)

Thanks Jon! :) I try to change the look every now and then.. Good for the fish as I'm overstocked in that tank and good for me..:)

Nice looking tanks!

I've been building a new rack to help consolidate some tanks....just finished painting it last night and I'm hoping to move it into place this weekend. I'll post pics later.

Just water changes...but I have been scrambling/shuffling/transferring to fit all my recent fry explosions within my 3 tank footprint. Had to buy another breeder box.:rolleyes:

Thanks christine! Wish i had a fish room like yours but for now show tanks are all im going to do till i can get a bigger place..

Esther, one of the utinta I got from you is holding and I'm so happy! She's been holding for about two weeks now, when do I strip? Any tips? In regards to your fry explosion, congratulations! Hehe..hope to get more from you sometime..always looking for more Tang's..

Here's my 180 I just finished remodeling a week ago..been turning on lighting for 12 hours a day to achieve the green moss growing on the rocks..some may not like it, I think its cool.. :)

Looks good Aldrich! What type of light fixtures and bulbs are you using? I use a Aqueon double light fxiture which is really for planted tanks and it does not very nice!

thanks skanda! i am using a cheap light i bought off an ebay auction.. its an odyssea 48" power compact with 4x65 watt bulbs, two are actinic blue, 2 are 6700k white.. im actually amazed that i got to grow the moss on the rocks in 2 weeks of continuous running, and now thats on the 4-5th week, its already a lot.. although i did have a growth of brown algae on the 1st to half of 2nd week.. any idea what wattage you are running?

have been working on a used 55 gallon given to me. thanks to input here, I made a center brace for it. now it doesn't bow at all when filled. thanks to all who advised. then I was inspired(shamed?) by Christine's post re: her 100 gal. so I decided to try my hand at resealing glass boxes. I resealed the verticals and filled it for 4-5 days. no leaks. yippee. I emptied it and then it began to get the bench wet. after it was empty it leaked.so I ended up resealing all of it. I wish it was ready for those rainbows in need of a new home

Nice! I've been inspired by a lot of DIY threads here and by uarujoey on YouTube..but haven't been doing much DIY projects lately.. Keep the posts coming! :)

I moved all of my tanks. The 29 got a complete remodel - new substrate, changed up driftwood and planting, etc.

The 150 got a partial remodel - of course, the dang background is already coming unstuck. We kept the substrate, added a background, and I rearranged all driftwood and planting/added some new wood.

This week I'm working on the 55... will post photos of all eventually or, better yet, invite people by to come see them. New house is still SUCH a mess.

Nice! You should post pics of the new house and setups! :) better get the re arrangements done, Xmas time is almost near..

Just got a current led light set up. Can't believe the difference from my cf tubes. Got a four foot fixture and four foot strip for about the same price of four good cf bulbs.
