What did you get at PVAS???

I went to listen to a Holocaust speaker survivor that was on Schindler's list today, instead of PVAS. I was wondering what everyone got today at PVAS???

I got a pair of Pelvicachromis Roloffe Kolente, 7 or 8 juveniles German Blue Rams, and 6 Corydoras Ehrhardti.

Also got some rotala, a very nice new 200 watt Fluval heater, and two 20" light fixtures.

As always, PVAS put on a great, wonderfully organized auction with many cool items. Just listening to the auctioneer was worth the trip.

Tony got a nice pair of swords. :)

A bunch of Filter foam. A linear air pump. A huge anubias bunch.

A group of Synodontis petricola. A group of Gold Rams was too good a deal to pass up.

Also bought a bunch of anubias and java fern from a guy selling most of his fish stuff.

i got nothing@!!! i was too slow and/or distracted-- i bumped up beautiful corydoras oasgidjgofdgsomthing, (stripped tail pandas) and got busy rebagging fish for people that i missed my own bump. forgot about tag sale discounted % and greengirl didnt give me the heads up and someone else took the stuff i was somewhat interested on.

i had a ton of fun and made some friends though. no regrets =)

plus a bunch of my fishies got new homes

Hey now, I had my own stuff to look after:confused:. Besides, as you said, wasn't it more fun to make friends than purchases?

Agreed! but the hatchery, u know i let you have it ;)



Jesse, i have a tank for a pair of new apistos of some sort now, and room for cory cats too' :lol: i dont think im ready to go to the dark side yet..:wacko:

4 macaw cichlids ( sadly one didnt make the trip back home.. :(( dunno how long they were in the bucket before i got em ), dynaflow with ray kingfish signature, red cherry shrimp colony, play sand and some other stuff i arranged to get at PVAS auction from other sellers.. :)

Picked up a pair of Cortez swords, trio of praecox rainbowfish, a whole swarm of juvenile blue rams, some albino cories, yo-yo loaches, a few caves and a couple of (non-functioning) strip lights. :s

Other than being a bit irritated by the strip lights, had a really great time.
