wanna show how i do things here lol  taking advantage of the rain i left the tanks half full (or half empty, whichever) for about half an hour. after than i reduced the light and refilled. hopefully someone will thing "oh rainiing season lets spawn!" though it never worked so far
i poured in cold water straight from the faucet so it was pretty chilly!

now to add some sphagnum moss to the filters =)

i picked like 7-8 eggs alltogether =) hopefully they will hatch!
is interesting but i tested my water right after my waterchange yesterday and the ph was soemwhere around 7.6~
i tested just now and ph is 6.4ish~
big mistake was that i didnt test before the waterchange! =/ because before i didnt thave the sphagnum. still this is lower than im used to see! i do run my co2 on all day, i think the solenoid is broke...but never seen it this low! so i guess spahgnum moss works?

i collected some rain from today, thats a first as well =)

(btw, i tried to upload a video of them doing it and i got a msg saying that the security token was missing and thats why i couldnt upload?):(
i have the video on my facebook if anyone cares to see

Have you tested the water from your tap. I have had Ph probs lately in south arlington.

That's neat that your corys spawned. I just got a group so I'm hoping mine will breed too
what else did you do besides the water change

i lowered the water level yesterday (took that water to the fry tank) and the filter output was above the surface. lots of agitation all night so im guessing the tank is well oxygenated. today i just saw a pair do it again and lay one egg right in front of me..wonder if that has anything to do with it :jumpy:
