I have a 150 gallon tank with 2 12 inch Oscars and a few silver dollars. I want to add mating pairbof Jack Dempsey's . I want to hear some opinions on this idea.
Want to add mating pair of jack Dempsey's 7 inch to my 150 with Oscar pair 12 inch

Will be adding more hiding spots if the pair is added.

If you did a very large water change and added more significant sight breaks and then added the dempseys, you may be okay. As your tank is now, with an established oscar pair, I would not suggest it.

Even if the Oscars are twice the size of the jack Dempsey's.....my Oscars usually aren't aggressive towards anybody except other Oscars ...unless the fish fits in their mouths they don't pay them any attention
