Alligator Snapping Turtle/Past Pres
So I realized that I haven't posted up any pics in a while and had some cabin fever, so snapped a few. As usual, excuse the poor lighting, focus, dirty glass and generally weak photographic skills.
Also, I haven't had a chance to stick on black backgrounds on the new tanks. I'll have that fixed tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks for looking. :jumpy:
Fishroom as of today, with new 40 breeder rack along the back wall. I think I'm just about tapped out of room in the fish room.
Tank #1 (again excuse the lack of background): Group of Ngara Flametails sharing the tank with grow-out Taiwan Reefs and some Copadichromis verdunyi.
Tank #2: Mixed male peacocks with a few larger females to get them to sport a bit more color. Also have (hopefully) a trio of Otopharynx heterodon ("Hap. Royal Blue")
Male O.heterodon
Tanks #3: My homage to the "other cichlids." Pair gold severums with pair cutteri.
Protomaleas spilonotus (Tanzania) - In quarantine tank - moved to 180 tonight. I wanted to get a pic of the male before they moved in case he decided to turn off his colors for a while. (Matt - those are your female bicolors, btw)
P. Spilonotus (Tanz) - male - starting to color up nicely
Baby Champsochromis caeruleus - Aren't they cute? Wild to imagine that these fish, the size of a cichlid stick, will someday get to be 14"-16" long.
Male benga - The blue coloration is slowly losing the war against the yellow coloration in his face. He's a stud, but as mean as any other peacock I have that size.
Mylochromis sp. "Colourflame" growout
Chilotilapia rhoadesii
Random 180 Shot
