well I was so excited that my t. snyderae spawned, but it looks like the male beat up the female and ate all the fry. Next time I'll have to take him out. Everything I read suggested that the male would take over guarding the babies to the point where the female might have to be removed...oh well. hopefully next time. 
huh! forget I said anything! I just checked on the pair this morning, and the male is guarding tons of fry. I have no idea what they did with the babies last night. I looked everywhere and just figured they had been eaten. What a good morning!
