sorry, I've been having some real bad computer problems, I assume that has something to do with it. I'll try to redo the pictures once I get the computer to work smoothely. Again, very sorry.

sorry for the wait, if you go to my photo gallery and click on texas, jack dempsey, and their fry, you will see pics of the pairents. Also, for everyone who wanted current size fry, and could not buy them straight from me, the congressional aquarium store also sells them. I still currently own most of the fry. Right now they are only about 0.5 inches, and the ones at congressional are about the same size or smaller, and since they are at such a small size, instead of $5 a piece, they will be $2.50 each until they reach 1 inch. The congressional aquarium store is currently selling them for $2.99each.

I have some very, very bad news. Last night the female (jack dempsey) beat up the male (texas) pretty badly. I don't think the male will survive much longer. He's completely stopped eating. In other words, this is your last chance to buy some of their fry, I will soon probably have to sell the jack dempsey, and I have an empty 55 so if anyone had any ideas for what to breed in their feel free to give me suggestions.

Selling hybrids on a forum (labeled as hybrids) is one thing. You should absolutely not be giving/selling them to an aquarium store for further distribution. This is irresponsible and can cause major problems in the hobby as 1-2 spawns can easily flood the market of a fish that can be easily mistaken and bred.

I'm a bit surprised Congressional even took them from you. Do they have them labeled as hybrids?

the lable said "texasxjack dempsey babies" I gave them specifically to greg (manager) who is a friend of mine and has even seen the pair in person. Thankfully, I only gave him a small portion of the fry.But for some reason when I went to congressional on saturday the babies werent in any of the tanks in the area where they have all of the fish that are for sale. They werent even in the back with all the fish in the hospital tanks. I'm guessing they got ich strictly because all of the fry that are still at my house got ich, thankfully I cured all of them in two days but congressional must of not had much luck. Anyway the babies are still for sale if you wan't them straight from me.

I only have pictures of when they where a month old, and I am on vacation so unfortunately I cannot get pics. Unless I have a few in my other cammera.

found some grainy pics. Sorry about the bad quality. Some of the fry are even getting iredescent blues in there cheek area and a few of the bigger ones are starting to get red on there fins. unfortunately, due to the poor picture quality, their colors are not showing up.
