SUPER SALE! HALF OFF PRE-ORDERS

Super Deal! Save 50%!

Okay, we have got a deal for you. I have an entire pre-order list available, and you can actual get HALF OFF the prices here. Here's how it works:

1. Send me an e-mail with the fishes you wish to order. You MUST order by e-mail to BatfishAquatics@gmail.com by 5 PM on Wednesday 7 August 2013 (Eastern time). I will not honour orders sent any other way. This is for my sanity. I have people who will order to my personal e-mail address, via PM, via text, via facebook messages, or in responses on the forums, and it is just way too much to keep track of. I wind up needing to check 5-6 places to get everyone's order in.

2. You must pick up the fish at the CCA Picnic, or on Sunday 11 August 2013 at the Batfish Warehouse in Silver Spring between the hours of 12 and 4PM. (You also have to tell me which.).

3. You have to register for AquaFest. This offer is made available ONLY to those who are attending AquaFest.

4. You must send me a Paypal for 50% of the price of your ordered fishes, to BatfishAquatics@gmail.com.

5. The remaining 50% is due upon receipt of fish, and may be made by PayPal, Cash, or Cheque.

6. You have until the end of August to send me a good, clear, high resolution image of your fish. This image must be clear, able to identify the fish, and of fair quality -- it doesn't have to be superb, just ... y'know, better than the ones on the www.batfishaquatics.com website. It must be at least 5 MP, and in JPG format. All images submitted become the property of Batfish Aquatics for use in promotional materials, on the website, etc., and all copyrights will be transfered to Batfish Aquatics. No watermarks, copyrights, or other stamps may be used on the image, and no credits will be given for photographs.

7. 50% of the full purchase price of the pictured fish will be refunded to you in the form of Batfish credit. Maximum credit is $100 per person. See bottom for examples. Only one photo per person per species will be accepted for credit.

8. Images will be accepted and credit will be given at the discretion of Batfish Aquatics, and all decisions are final.

EXAMPLES:

If you purchase 12 Jelly Bean Tetras at $5 each, for a total of $60, you would pay $30 up front. Upon receipt, you will then pay an additional $30. After taking photos of the fish, provided said images are halfway decent (no thumbs, no algae dots, no reflection of you and the camera, etc.), you will recieve a credit of $30, provided you get most of the shoal in the shot. If you only get one fish in the shot, you'd only get $2.50 credit. (I'm not going to quibble if you get 10 fish in the shot).

If you purchase 6 pairs of dwarf gouramies at $12, you would pay $36 up front via PayPal. Upon receipt, you will then pay the remaining $36. If you then send in a decent photo of one pair, you will receive $6 credit. Crowding all 12 fish into a shot may make it unuseable, and $36 in credit would not be given. If you take a photo of 2 or 3 pairs, and it actually looks good, you would recieve credit for those fish.

So this offer is only good if you're attending Aquafest? What size are the gymnogenys and panamense?

+1...

Really good list, and a very generous %off... but reading the post was like reading a legal document... and with no guarantee of getting anything off in the end?

haha. i didn't read past prerequisite 6-8. That is a lot of "demands".

Why not just have someone come down to the warehouse and take some shots for you?
