Nice! That's the same size tank I have in the 2nd picture I posted. I'm finding that I really like the manzanita arrangements (like yours) that look like roots growing downward.

Lookin' good!

Yea I played with diffrent arrangments and came to the same conclussion roots down. Gives it that swampy black water look

Going strong after one week. No sign of them sinking. :)

The pieces I got from Rachel at the club meeting a few months ago took about 4 weeks to sink.

I don't mind at all as I like the floating looks a lot. I kinda hope they would never sink. I see my SAEs and plecos hanging out on and under the woods. Observing lots of new activitities from the fish which is cool. Thanks for picking out the nice pieces, Rachel! :)

my pleasure!

Most of the little pieces sink right away, I have not worked with a lot of the larger ones but am surprised to see them floating like that, lol

Is that a good thing? You had liked the way they looked floating. Do they still look good?

I do like the floating look, but they still look good. When the pieces are finally settled, I will put them in their final locations. One piece is on the bottom, but the one on the left is still going strong near the surface. :D

Wood is good

Hey Yun, I see someone I know in those pictures. Thought you'd like to know the G. altifrons here are holding babies.

Here's part of the driftwood that I bought from Rachel last Saturday.

I still have to put in more plants in the foreground and let them fill in. But this is what I have so far since I added the driftwood and started planting the tank yesterday.
