Short Period Pre Order, Local Pick-Up ONLY

Hey Folks,

I have a smaller than usual pre order list of some really cool fish available. Orders must be received and paid for by TUESDAY at 2 PM. E-mail to BatfishAquatics@gmail.com for details.

Fish must be picked up here at Batfish or at the GWAPA meeting on Saturday. They can be picked up any time on Friday, or after 4 PM on Thursday.

A couple of highlights off the list, before I get right to it. :)

Lots of types of Apistos and wild Kribensis, be sure to check those out!

Two types of Royal Farlowella, including some smaller tank raised ones -- these should be a big boon if you've had trouble with this fish before.

The gorgeous green Farlowella, Acestridium, is still available. It's a tough fish to keep, but worth the attempt.

Orange Otocinclus are available as well -- they're little oto-like catfish, and they're... well, they're orange. :)

Albino Congo Tetras are one of my favourite ugly duckling fish. Like the regular Congo, they're butt ugly. Take them home, give them a few months, and they're going to reward with you shocking colour. I don't like albinos, but this fish... it just works. The iridescent green and blue are really offset.

Alestopetersius is a genus of other congo tetras, and, y'know what. . . This is their fishbase image:

Enough said.

Lots of really nice pencilfish -- there's a minimum of 12 on all of the $2 ones, though. 25 or more are $1.50.

The true Jae Barb, or African Fire Barb, is also available. Don't confuse this with the far east bred fish you've seen under the name.... the real, wild Jae Barb (like these) is a beautiful fish.

The Eye Spot Chocolate is available, too. If you've tried chocolate gouramies before and had trouble, try this one. It's wayyyy hardier than the other species.

The crossband chocolate gourami (Sphaerichthys selatanensis ) is also available. Another ugly duckling, they're kind of a brown, striped fish... until they settle in. Then they look like something out of a Renn Fest -- bright red plaid!
