It's the annual Animal Planet Shark Week.
Is anyone else excited for this?

Last night was a spoof documentary on the Megaladon. It was surprisingly well done.

I thought last nights show was awful compared to most Shark Weeks of the past. I would rather have real world hits than some supposed might have existed shark of the past. Give me Great Whites hitting seal decoys all day over that show last night.

It was bad enough that I regularly was flipping back to watch the Dallas Cowgirls try to play football against the Miami Squiggles (as much as their new logo doesnt look like a dolphin)

I thought it was entertaining because it was something completely different. It was obviously not a real documentary. I laughed so hard at some of the "evidence" videos they put together. "This video clip was discovered by a Chilean boy watching one of the government underwater cameras. *Whoosh, a shadow of a giant shark swims by*. Oh that's good.

I can't wait to see some White Shark breaches!

They had a great commercial for shark week with the news snippet about them saving and releasing a seal only to be snatched from the lift by a great white. That was one of the better commercials his year.

Nat Geo is also doing a 'Shark Fest' this week!?! Let the cable channel wars commence. :D
