I recently noticed that my Red Parrot Cichlid has a black spot on its scales. You can see it in the picture that I have attached. The fish is not doing anything weird and is eating plenty, but I am concerned that it has a parasite or some other disease. the Black spot its about halfway down the body up near the dorsal fin. I have done a methelean blue fish bath this evening to see if it solves the problem. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar thing happen to their fish and could share there knowledge about treating fish illness.
