I just love the way those fish look! What are your thoughts on adding 1M/3F (or fewer?) to a 55g already stocked with 7 Msobo, 6 Yellow Lab, 2 Acei, and 1 unknown (hybrid) Labeotropheus of some sort? The labeotropheus seems dominant, i.e., is the biggest, chases other fish, but only briefly, and only when he's waiting to be fed. The rest of the time, he's hiding. No plans to breed/sell offspring from anything. Tank has lots of rocks and hiding places.

I have my adult group by themselves, and a juvenile group with Lethrinops of their same size and much larger Lab Hongi and have no problems.
Sexing at their size is almost impossible.
I do not see any problems, but as with almost all Malawi I would want more than one male in the colony.
