Hey guys, can you believe we're about to have a normal(ish) meeting? It's been a long, long time. And what's a CCA meeting without a Batfish fish delivery!
We'll be there, and bringing some really cool stuff for the auction -- but we've also got a GREAT pre order list.
All orders must be placed by no later than 3 PM Monday 9 May! Any late orders will be ignored.
So, it's been a while since we've done a PRE ORDER, so here's how it works:
We are placing our weekly fish orders with several large wholesalers on Monday, and this is your chance to get fish on that order. These fish will arrive at the Batcave on Wednesday or Thursday, and will be available for pickup at the meeting. We are NOT currently shipping fish, and we're not arranging for alternative pickups -- if you're not coming to the meeting, you cannot order. Fish must be prepaid by PayPal to BatfishAquatics at gmail.com. Because the fish are not on hand, I cannot send you pictures of them, I cannot tell you how many males and females I have, or give you any information specific to these fish. They're typical of what you'll get at any aquarium store. There is also a chance that your fish will not arrive -- in which case you'll be refunded.
Note that sex ratios are not guaranteed on any of these fish. If you want guaranteed sex, you're going to have to buy me a lot of drinks -- buying extra fish would be cheaper.
With the limited turn around time, I likely will not have time to answer a lot of questions on the orders. I most definitely do not have time to do your math for you. If you ask me how much 6 fish that cost $2 will cost you, I will tell you $25. If you don't see the issue there, please do ask me to do your math for you.
All prices include MD State Sales Tax. If you do have questions, please don't message me on the forum, I will almost assuredly not see it in time. E-mail me at the above e-mail address.
Also, note that e-mail is the ONLY way orders are accepted. I cannot accept orders placed on the forum, in PM, by texts, messenger, or ouiji board. If you send me a PayPal without an e-mail, I will assume the PayPal is for scotch.
Finally, yes... prices have increased... a lot over the past two years. These fish are going to be a bit more expensive than older prices -- and I've had to knock some of the rare / unusual stuff off the list because it was just too astronomical right now. Between supply chain issues, increased transportation cost, and just limited transportation... the fish industry is not doing particularly well, and it's expensive.
