Thinking to use it under my substrate,
Will like to bag it,now what kind of bag or any ideas how to do it,will have an sponge filter so avoiding an eye sore is a plus, thanks if you got a good idea:)

I have not used peat under sand/gravel, but I have placed it in bags/stockings in a sump. after 6-8 weeks, it smelled like sewage to me. the display and sump sump didn't smell but when changing the p.moss, it reeked. I used the typical fine mesh filter bags and also knee-his (cut to size). it required a good bit of rinsing and did not sink readily. I weighed it down w/ rocks in my sump or hang on filter.

yes it did. I used the peat with the hope of lowering the ph, the next morning when I saw the tank, there it was- stained water.
