So when cleaning my jaguar cichlid tank this morning i was in for a big surprise. I purchased 6 young jags only about two months ago. They are just now about 4 inchs long. While moving decorations I was shocked to see a large cloud of fry. I did not even think they where big enough to be sexually mature. So what to do now. What do to fry need for starter foods. The fry seem to be a little bit larger then angelfish fry which i know start on baby brine. Is that my best bet. Also can i keep the fry with the parents or will they eat them. the 4 other jags are still in the tank but i did make a divider out of the decorations just to help keep the territorys seperated. So anyone have any ideas. I am leaving for mexico in the morning so i dont want it to be difficult for my brother to care for them when i am gone. Hopefully i can get some fry to make it. If not i am sure they will spawn again and i will be more prepared.
