Your CFO (Chief Forum Officer) has given me a kick in the but. I guess he is right because I haven't posted here in a while. So I thought I give you a little update on what I up to these days. Having kept Tanganyika cichlids (especially Tropheus) for many years, I was looking for something different. So I got involved with CARES and dedicated some tanks to endangered species. Here are some of them:

Tilapia snyderae

Cryptoheros nanoluteus

Cryptoheros myrnae

Melanotaenia boesemani

Are the boesemani a CARES fish? I remeber years and years ago when I kept rainbows there was talk about their habitat being in trouble. A few years ago I tried to start another rainbow tank and gave up becuase I couldn't find quaility fish.
