Noisy AC110

It just started. I cleaned everything and even put some vaseline on the shaft and the around the magnet, but not helping. I even switched the impeller (with magnet), but same deal. Any idea whatelse I could do to address the problem? The noise is becoming unbearable.

Sometimes the guide hole (where the shaft of the impeller sits) gets worn out and you have to buy a new motor. Also check to make sure nothing got sucked in the motor (gravel, sand, etc.) You should'nt have to lubricate anything,if you have a new impeller and everything is lined up right( good shaft, bushings, magnet) the motor is probably worn out. They generally make noise when something is out of balance. If the motor is bad you'll want to replace it right away so you can still use the new impeller,if you wait it might get to beat up to reuse.

I didn't want to hear that, but I guess I will have to get a new motor. Does anyone know where I could buy one? Or is there anyone here who's selling one? :)

Some LFSs will sell you a motor, even though they don't stock them separately. I bought an AC motor at Showcase Aquarium in Wheaton a few months ago.
