I have to check with the principal regarding classroom pets. I was planning on possibly doing an aquarium or possibly a terrarium with my American Toads in it. It depends on what the principal approves of and what I'll have time to take care of.

I applied to the pets-in-the-classroom grant and never heard anything! I tried to call them and could not get an answering machine... LMK if you get anywhere with them. Maybe they're biased to people on the Eastern Shore.
Congrats on the job BTW. I've bounced around for 13 years and found that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.
