Just make sure to get a good protein skimmer, with that, live rock, and live sand, you should be good to go. Like Adam, I buy my water pre mixed, and top off with RODI water, you build up less phosphates and other minerals that way, which results in less algae growth

Yeah think I might pickup a RODI system. Everything I've read says they are worth the money
