That has to be a picture of someone in York, Pa. People around here use scissors to trim the grass around their sidewalks. There was a guy who went to the emergency room awhile back that use a circular saw to trim around the sidewalk.......

My neighbor uses a chainsaw to trim his 3 shrubs in front of his house, I laugh everytime.

I wouldn't be surprised if you skipped the crain and gave it a go with a 2x4 ramp.lol. For a one man job you could cut the tree down, trim and put it back up with carpentars glue and wood screws.
