I saw this guy at Aquarium Depot after the meeting on Saturday. Crappy phone pic. Only one in the tank. Anyone see these before?

I didn't look at the old worlds. A few large overpriced new worlds with HITH. They had one real nice sunset convict but it's living at my house now.

I was there a couple weeks ago and they didnt have much in the way of old world. They had a Fossorochromis but your already set there

Yes - from the far east so not sure of the scientific name.

$40 per is pretty steep. I've seen them for much less...

I had a pair back in Cali - they breed like regular jewels...

Yeah, Rob in GWAPA had some for awhile there. I didn't realize they were that expensive. Don't know what species they were.

I just saw the same fish at the lfs last night. Pretty, but just as unsociable as any other jewel cichlid so I passed on them. The price wasn't nearly that high.
