I bought a bag of mixed shells at Joann's fabric for 10 bucks that had maybe 18 good shells for shellies in it. There are always 40 and 50% off coupons floating around that could make the purchase even more reasonable.

Charlie, I have a Joann's about three minutes from me. I printed the coupons. Thanks a bunch. However, I'll check it out again. But the last time I looked, the shells were very small in those bags and most of them were clam and oyster shells. Maybe they have a better assortment now. Thanks again.

It can be hit or miss. The bag I got was bright yellow mesh, so I could look inside it. Maybe 6x6x12". Good luck.
