North American Native Fishes Association (NANFA) invites you to attend
their 2007 National Convention, June 7-10 at Clarion Hotel in
Greensboro, North Carolina. NANFA is a mix of amateur and
professional biologists, educators, nature lovers, aquarium hobbyists,
anglers, and others who love streams, ponds, marshes, and critters
that live in water. Meet other native fish enthusiasts, learn about
NC aquatic habitats, fish ID and photography, collecting and captive
breeding, conservation and habitat restoration, aquatic plants and
invertebrates, and many other topics. Thursday night Fish Photography
Workshop; Friday a wide variety of speakers and workshops about fish
in nature and in aquaria; Friday dinner banquet and benefit auction;
Saturday & Sunday fish collecting trips throughout North Carolina.
