Yeah, I'm all about the mad max goggles. Now that's style.
As for the egg tumbler tank, conventional egg tumblers use a clear tube, with screen on the ends. The eggs go in here. An airline tube is inserted in the top, above the top screen. The bubbles blowing out of the top pull water through the compartment with the eggs, tossing them. This keeps a constant flow of freshwater moving across them, reducing the likelihood of fungus.
This setup has a piece of styro across the top of the tank with holes cut in it. The holes are the size of the outside diameter of the strainer. Because it is styrofoam, it will always be sitting atop the water, no matter how much evaporation occurs.
The mainifold in the tank is just like a manifold you're use for your air system, but has the valves directly underneath each of the baskets above. Air pumped into this manifold results in a fine stream of bubbles coming up under each basket.. making the hoppers hop.
I was thinking of perhaps replacing the manifold with a powerhead, fittted with a rotating flow device, pointing towards the bottom pane of glass. While this isn't as adjustable as the manifold, it will be much cheaper and easier to construct....
