Looking for a local source for rain barrels?

I have five that I'm using for both outdoor watering and fish room water storage. I got soap 55g barrels for free from my auto-repair shop. Some carwash places will give you barrels. Try to get two bung barrels with the top attached - they are the easiest to setup. Once you get the barrels let me know and I can help you outfit them with PVC etc.

I got some plastic 50 gallon drums from the coke bottler

just walked in and asked for some and the guy working there sold me 5/$20

this was in Sacramento but should be pretty similar around here

I know this doesn't help you now Prince but late week I went to visit my girl friend at her school (MUES) and we were going out to eat and some farmer some sitting out for free. There was 4 at least 55g tubs and one extrat large tub. I went back on my way home and they were gone. Looks like a big loss for you and I LOL.

countact the county ag dept. They will order real rainbarrels for you at cost normally.
