I may or may not have a huge change with my work happening in the next 2-3 weeks ... Depending on the result of this the entire setup tank, sump, fx5, fluval 305 and etc., may be up for sale along with 2 other tanks a 30g rimless and a 20g... I will keep everyone posted.

Just curious, what is the ideal size tank for an aro?

All depends on what kind you want really.
For a jardini, leichardti (saratoga) or any asian arowana (unfortunately, asian aros are illegal in the states) a standard 180 would work for a single fish. For a black aro or silver aro I'd recoment at least a 5' by 10' tank since they can exceed 3'. For an african aro (not a true arowana but very similar) would need a 2.5' by 8'. African aros need special care as youngsters because they are filter feeders. Once they hit about 10" they no longer need special care. I dont want to derail the thread but if you have any further aro questions feel free to pm me.

I'd be interested in the female auratus, maybe a few others. I could probably stop by after work one day next week depending on your availability.

I have at least a breeding group of the auratus 1 male and 3 females ... Also have some fry from this group... I will sell the mbuna now $25 sound fair for the group

I am sorry for the uncertainity of this thread but I just learned about a 50% reduction of the work force at my job until I figure out what is going on I am just going to sell the mbuna. This war on coal is killing my career.

Sorry to hear you're in the coal industry the obama administration is tough on coal maybe things will turn around for coal when the republicans are back in office. I got shares in ANR and it's been making new lows every day

Sorry to hear about your situation and good luck with selling your stuff!

Fortunately (or unfortunately), the "Obama war on coal" claims are "mostly false" (at least according to the Politifact "Truth-o-Meter): http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...tch-mcconnell/mcconnell-links-obama-war-coal/

It's not like the coal industry has been doing itself any favors of late:

What Haps and Peacocks do you have? I am very interested. Heck if you wanted to get rid of the whole shabam you should bring them to the Cichlid Club of York, PA meeting saturday. ;) I know I'd grab a number of them

After watching the last cca auction and what the fish went for I am very hesitant to go that route...seemed Like majority of fish went for $2 or less a piece
