Lighting, confusion without end........

So I just bought a DB SolarmaxHE 48" for the 90g I'm setting up. I know [or think I know, (contradiction noted!)] that the standard bulbs(one 10,000k daylight, one 6700 actinic) won't be sufficient for even the moderate planting that I will be doing. Anubias, crypts, swords. Most literature recommends at least 2 watts per gallon, and this fixture, as equipped, puts out a measly 56w. Without getting all technical, can someone please simply advise what bulbs I should run. I have no reservations about removing the actinic. Is it simply a matter of putting two bulbs that will get me up to, say, 200w or so?

Is your fixture t5 or compact flourescent? I have a 36" fixture with double 96 watt CF bulbs giving me a whopping 192 watts on a 40 breeder, over 4 WPG

I run DB solarmax ho fixtures on my planted tank. I use two zoomed bulbs: florasun and ultrasun. Not sure if they are made for t5he.
