CCA Members
SET UP FOR THIS TAGSALE IS FROM 12-1 PM

For everyone that attended the PVAS TAGSALE, they saw that it turned out to be very successful.
We at JRAS decided to also put on an event, that is in line with the covid issues we have, keeping a social distance, and proper face mask wearing> In lite of the fact that this year, we have been working on ways to give our membership opportunities to move fish stock in a safe manner we are holding this event with no fees involved. no table fees, no % of sales to club, and we are also inviting a few of our local stores to participate, whether they are distributing flyers, sales or simply goodwill to our fish keepers..
Please try to make our event... another way to move on some of the fish that have been piling up in your tanks, or maybe finding that one species you didn't have, showed up in someones list.
Look forward to seeing our sister society members for another outing.. We are an easy 90 min. from northen va. What else is on your schedule during this time.?????

Anyone have feedback from the event? Hope it was a success, we'd like to try and plan something similar for CCA in the near future.

It was 61 degrees F for the JRAS tailgating event but sunny and little or no wind. My fish in sweater boxes were fine but I brought hot water in case some species got cold. I used it on three boxes. Bagged fish from presales were in styros in the car and so not affected much by outside conditions.

The PVAS tailgating event was on October 4th and had ideal conditions: sunny temp at 70 and no wind. Both had accessible bathrooms.

I could not do the tailgating at temperatures lower than 60 or if it was windy, except if the event was totally based on pre-sales. That way I could keep the bagged fish in the car and only open the styros when people came to pickup.
