January Meeting

The January meeting of the CCA will be held on Saturday the 13th at 2pm

Michael Barber will give a talk on his recent trip to Peru collecting fish.

Come one - come all.

We will have the usual raffle and mini auction.

There will be refreshments and plenty of fish conversations going on.

Don't forget that this is membership renewal month.

I will try to make it if I settled in. I am so confused on the start date right now ...the HR told me they wanted me in on the 8th, my future supervisor wanted me in now but i still need to give me 2 weeks notice and most of all god damn move..sigh!

If I remember, I will be bringing a few things for the auction that I normally do not bring.

Some bubble nest building cat fish.
common name Hoplo
Megalechis thoracata I think there are 6 of them at about 2.5 - 3 inches

Also a Aulonocara stuartgranti (Cobue) Male that I got in Ohio. Had a pair. She decided a divorce was needed and left him. She missed the next tank though. Found dried up.

As expected, Mike Barber gave an excellent talk on his collecting trip Peru. As we all found out George occasionaly left the boat to collect fish also. Thanks again Mike it was much appreciated.

I guess I missed a good meeting. I tried to get on here for about a week and a half prior to the meeting but the site was down so I didnt know the time or location. I thought I was banned already Hopefully next meeting I can make it.

The meetings are the second Saturday of each month except July and August. The holiday party is on the same Saturday but usually at someone's home.
