Is there any way to apply to do a talk?

Do you need to be renowned in the hobby or famous in some way to do a talk at a meeting or is there some way to set one up?

The club usually hosts a few member talks at the January meeting. It should be a topic of interest to members - spawning an unusual fish, DIY presentations, etc.
