I recently ordered six (got seven) small long-finned albino BN plecos -- all in an attempt to get a girlfriend for my mature long-finned boy. In the meantime, my fairly newly set up planted African tank was getting brown and green algae and making me crazy. So two of the new guys (less than 2" long) were put in the African tank. In two days, the tank is sparkling. It really is amazing how industrious they are and what a good job they do. There are a few places (anubias leaves mostly) where they've missed some (I'm trying to point that out to them) but all-in-all, they have done their job well. And are super cute doing it. Truly an amazing little fish . . .
