Hey there,

Name is Shawn and I am from the Chicago area. I have been keeping cichlids for a little over 4 years. I have 17 tanks in my collection. I am part owner of Aquatic-Terrors.com and currently the Vice President of the Greater Chicago Cichlid Association.

I started of keeping mostly Malawian cichlids and have move more towards the Tanganyika fish. I find them much more interesting, although the wife still has her love for the Peacocks.

Welcome, Shawn. I'm a Malawi guy myself, though I do have a couple of tanks with Tangs in them. :)

Did you make it up to Milwaukee for the ACA this year?

Yep my wife and I were there. Arrived Friday night intime for the B.I.T.C.H's auction and had to leave before the auction on Sunday.
