Friend or Foe

I was pruning some plants out of one of my tanks and found this critter.
I know the pictures are bad but I think you can see OK. has a fork tail and legs,Looks to me like a dragon fly. Any guesses of what this critter mite be.

Really hard to tell from the photo. Dragonfly larve don't look like that.

I was already cut in half and disposed of.
