Heh. Well, I'm growing them so they can't be that hard!!!
I've been growing them under medium light, no CO2, but I do dose occasionally with Excel.
They are very easy to propagate (in fact, they'll do it without your help). When the leaves reach the surface or get separated from the parent plant, they'll send out roots of their own and pretty soon they'll be floating all over the tank.
The leaves are pretty delicate. they're tissue-thin, but that's some of their beauty. And if they get damaged, they're replaced pretty quickly.
These are a non-fussy cousin of the "banana plant."
