I got these for free from a member so I am offering them for free. You pay shipping in medium flat rate box with foam.

They are healthy and absolutely no fighting in a 24" tank they are in. I think there are two males and four females. Cant confirm as they dont breed. I assum it is my 7.2 ph.

Also 48 whales eye shells available for $20 extra.

Multis are a shell dweller from Lake Tang ( I think). I can't remember the full Latin name.

Bill lives near Richmond and doesn't drive, so you'd have to go to him to get them.

I live in Central VA near Charlottesville. Pickup or I ship for $11.

I have no doubt that these would work in a 10 gallon.

If Zack doesn't take them, I will. And, I'll pay the $11 for shipping!

Do they need all 20 shells, or is that overkill in a 10g?

Zack is out so Alexandra is next in line. Not sure if Priority is wise to Cali though.

I have 48 shells and yes it is overkill I think. The males LOVE to dig in the sand.

Still a lil cold at night to ship.

Even though the Cali person responded first, I think a local/current club member should have priority over a new non-member, especially if the fish originally came from a club member.

There are many perks to being a club member, and I give preference to club members (as opposed to forum members) when possible.

I know Ruth would give them a good home, can't vouch for the other person (no offense).

No offense taken. I do think then it would be better for a member, I would be a little leery on the shipping with the weather as it is myself. Hopefully I can eventually find a group of them a bit closer by.

Glad that wasn't taken the wrong way, I wish you the best of luck in finding some multies or other shellies. It would just be a shame to ship them so far and not have them arrive in perfect condition. Have you head of 'The Wet Spot'? They have a retail store in Oregon, but also have an online site and will ship, and have a huge selection. They're on aquabid too.

Multies are generally pretty prolific, so you should be able to find some closer. I'm sure there are shops or vendors in CA, but I wouldn't have anyone to recommend.

If you don't find anything in Wet Spot (can't vouch for their african selection) try www.davesfish.com. He's in Texas, but has a great selection of different shellies, and could ship easier. Again, best of luck whatever route you choose.

Sorry for those that inquired and was left out.

Thanks....Bill.

Its a 26g bowfront. It's a mix of PFS and black sand. The males like to hang in the rock caves.

Thanks....Bill
