For the Montgomery County Residents: The council just laid off app. 21 Firefighters

The County Council just approved a budget cut that will lay off approximately 21 Professional Firefighters. What has not been mention yet is that they they extended to volunteer schedule to the max at some stations to cover the reduced staffing of paid guys. I am surprised the Fire Chief doesn't think this will effect residents, But he is the Fire Chief, he knows more than I.
