I recently had to replace the impeller cover on two Fluval 305s. I've had both for years and they work fabulously, but it occurred to me that I might start having issues and it would be good to have a few back-ups just in case. (I run both 305s and 405s on all my tanks for redundancy.) I checked out Ebay and see that there are now 306s and 406s on the market, so I was able to pick up a brand new in box 305 and 405 for $200 including shipping. So if anyone likes their older Fluvals, now might be a good time to jump on ebay.
