Fairfax, VA Water?

Planning to bring some fish to the Catfish Convention in Fairfax, VA and was wondering what the water's like down there (vs. Gaithersburg / Montgomery County water)...

I know that Fairfax adds chloramines...but are the sources the same?

Any other differences?

Thanks,
Matt

I did test on my water and noticed nothing wrong. Everything came back 0ppm and the pH was at around 7.2. Didn't check the kH though.
All I add is Prime to my water when I do water changes. All fish are happy :)

When the show tanks are set up, they are filled with water on Thursday, then treated with Prime. The water will be aerated for about 24 hours prior to anyone putting fish into the tanks.

Cool - I think 7.2 ph is a little lower than in MoCo... but shouldn't be a big shock...

Thanks,
Matt

Definitely chloramines in FFX. We test pretty high for ammonia right out of the tap, IIRC like 1ppm.
