Deep water Haps

Hi Everyone,Could anyone give me some help...Please. Ive just been given 4 juvenile deep-water haps,( Placidochromis electra ) & ive pit them in my 6ftx24x24 mbunu cichlid tank.They seem to be o.k with the Mbunus,but i don't know much about these beutiful fish.How big do they grow ?...How fast do they grow ?...Are they compatable with my Mbunu's ? Any kind of advice would be very helpful.:unsure:

Awesome fish. One of my all time favorites. They are very peaceful and usually only do a little chasing amongst themselves. They should be ok with your Mbunas because the Electras just cruise the open water while the mbunas satay close to the rocks. You might have some nipped fins but other than that it should be ok.


Here's my big boy. Lost him last year I think just to old age. He was about six inches+

I'm not a fan of mixing haps and mbuna, especially mean mbuna, but it should work...
