Collecting Trip To Uruguay

Howdy, Got a new collecting trip in the planning stages. Uruguay, last week of November with Spencer Jack. Local guide and wholesaler will go with us and take care of the fish, Lots of Gymnogeophagus, Cichlasoma and Crenichicla. About $2,000-2,500 for everthing from Miami (exact total depends on where you will be flying in from) including airfare (from Miami), food, lodgeing, rental cars, gas, export permits, exc.
8-10 people max.
3-4 spots are still available.

I just don't see how anyone goes on a trip like this and avoids having to buy three 180-gal. tanks after returning!

I've got to say that a couple of days of eating in Montevideo sounds like fun, too. (Of course, a couple of days eating *anywhere* generally sounds like fun to me . . . .)

What a great picture. (What is it?) Maybe anyone going on such a trip needs to add a fishroom to the budget for the trip!
