I want to try to avoid large populations of pest snails, so I am looking for a plant friendly clean up crew that wont cost a ton as I am sure some will be eaten by the bichirs.
I was thinking 80 or so olive nerites, and 10-20 rabbit snails for turning the substrate.
I could stock it with ghost/ cherry shrimp and let them go for a month or so to see if they establish a colony.
