Cichlid breeders in Illinois area

Hello, does anybody know any trusted cichlid breeders in the Illinois area. Our any good fish stores. I know about old orchard aquarium. But they are a little expensive. Thanks for the help.

Most of us are in the mid Atlantic area but maybe someone will speak up.
Andy is just north of you. He is on here every couple days.

Your best bet is a GCCA swap. They have some of the largest fish swaps in the country and it's loaded with cichlid breeders. The next event is a cichlid auction on August 12th. Swap season is in the fall, winter, and spring.

Other good stores are Aquarium Adventure in Hoffman estates and there is another one close by there that is good but I forgot the name. I got some Red Head Tapajos there last fall and they just spawned for me the other day.

Thanks for the responds. I'm in Evanston and lately I noticed that the petsmart on oakton fish don't look healthy
