Anyone can volunteer to be a checker. The requirement is that you go to the member's home and verify that, 1. there are fry in the tank, and 2. that the fry belong to the pair in the tank.
How would you know if the fry belong to the pair or parent you ask...if they didn't they would be eaten by the time you got to the house.
If you are unfamiliar with the species, have the breeder show you a picture.
Make sure the name of the species is written on the form in the place indicated and sign your name and date it. The second signature is obtained at the meeting that coincides with the fry's 30th or 60th day.
3 fry plus a breeder's report for the Biotope , or 6 fry for the next mini auction is what is required to get your points. Turn in your signed report to Steve Lufgren or myself and I will make sure he gets them.
Breed on....
