Advice, breeder recommendations, keep for beginners, different ways to keep these fish, how to start a tank etc. is located on the forum.
The web site rebuild is coming along. My website developer, who works for the Air Force, is tied up helping with IRMA clean up and the complete rebuild may take a little longer than expected. One of the changes in place is a change in the discount structure. CAS has and continues to reward returning customers with a special discount. That discount is now 5% on all regularly priced fish over $9.99. Return customers (Discount Club Members) also receive the best rates on sale fish, usually 5% less than new customers. Gone are the floating discounts which seemed to cause more confusion than they were worth. They have been replaced with the following policy. On fish orders over $100, up to $299.99, a 10% discount on all non-sale fish will be deducted at time of delivery on cash orders or refunded through Pay Pal on credit orders. Discount club members will now get both their normal 5% discount plus this 10% discount on these size orders. On fish orders over $299.99, a 15% discount on all non-sale fish will be deducted at the time of delivery on cash orders or refunded through Pay Pal on credit orders. This way the customer does not have to worry about trying to enter a special code to receive these discounts and discount club members will get an extra discount. To make this simple, I will count all fish ordered, including sale fish toward the total to make the extra discount level. However, the discount will only be applied to the non-sale fish in the order.
Let us know if you have any suggestions on how to make the site better on the forum. If you have any technical issues with the site, the forum has a place for that as well. Until the site is completely rebuilt and moved to my new host, there remains a risk of slowdowns. Please bear with us as we work hard to correct that problem.
I am still a little behind on counts. You can tell if a fish has been updated on time by the next count due time located in each fish's description.

My main wholesaler made it through IRMA with limited damage and is up and running. That is good news for my special order program. Sadly, my secondary wholesaler from which I only ordered a few fish has major damage and it may be a long time until he recovers from IRMA.
