CAS stopped selling six pack uncertain except ones directly from the wholesaler by special order, The reason for this is that that is too inconsistent as far as sexing when they grow out. Even though most fry are 50-50 when born, scooping out six in 2 inches or smaller can result in too many or two few males. Instead, I started selling guaranteed male groups where there is one male and with females or sex uncertain groups. Most males are not certain until at least 2.5 inches or larger. My wholesaler is better at guessing males from uncertain sex and often sends a few extra fish to be sure the customer gets at least one male.
