Can I get the same results from excel as I can from yeast co2

I want to use co2 in my fulaval edge however I don't want to clutter it with a pressurized set up unless I have to. I have several nutrafin co2 kits. That being said will I get the same results if I use excel as my sole source for co2. I am going to plant some UG and dwarf hair grass along with some dwarf sag, vals, anubi, and crypts.

I have dwarf sag, anubius and crypts in my planted tanks, excel is fine for them. Not sure on the other plants tho.

I don't think that you will get the same results. I use both pressurized co2 and excel in my planted tanks. I think you could probably get away with just using excel. I would also consider using ro/di water.

Space and the lack of a cluttered look is also an issue so I ordered the pressurized kit that comes with the Flora.
