Breeding question

Hello everyone...so getting nervous about some eggs I'm tumbling. These are yellow lab eggs. At first it seemed all were the same. Now I'm noticing some developing a "fuzz" on them some changing color to a more pale white than others some have floated yo the top of the egg tumbler completely (assuming they are dead eggs) and one is even growing a second egg...what the heck is going? Am I doing something wrong or is this how it normally is?

Thank you! Sucks that only 50% made it. I've read this is normal when the male is a newbie to the process so hoping that's it and it isn't something I did. I'm checking water every day and everything looks fine. Nitrates haven't gone above 20. 🤷‍♂️
